The Nagoya City Science Museum is hosting a special event, "Let's Go See the Extinction Boundaries!" in conjunction with the "Great Extinction Exhibition." This unique program combines lectures at the museum with field observation of geological strata related to extinction events found in the Tokai region.
Event Details
Participants will first deepen their understanding of extinction boundaries through lectures at the science museum. Following this, they will visit actual outcrop locations to observe these geological records firsthand. This event offers a dual approach, blending academic learning with practical fieldwork to explore the mysteries of past mass extinctions.

- Eligibility: Visitors who have entered or will enter the "Great Extinction Exhibition" (ticket required; elementary school students and younger must be accompanied by a guardian).
- Capacity: 32 participants (lottery if applications exceed capacity)
- Fee: ¥2,000 per person (includes bus fare, insurance, etc.)
