慶長十六年の名古屋普請

Nagoya Castle will host a special lecture titled "Nagoya Construction in Keicho 16," a must-attend for history enthusiasts.

While the stone walls of Nagoya Castle were completed in Keicho 15 and the keep in Keicho 17, this lecture delves into the construction work carried out in the intervening year, Keicho 16. The speaker, Mr. Dai Imaizumi, a curator from the Nagoya Castle Research Center, will provide detailed explanations of the construction activities during this period.

The venue is the Peacock Room (Kujaku-no-ma) in the Honmaru Palace. Please note that seating will be on zabuton cushions as it is a Japanese-style room, and no desks will be provided.

Participation is free of charge, but the Nagoya Castle entrance fee is required separately. With a capacity of only 35 people, early registration is highly recommended for those interested.
