The rooftop amusement park at Matsuzakaya Nagoya has undergone a major renovation for the first time in 47 years and is set to reopen. While retaining the beloved retro coin-operated rides, the renovated space now features artistic play equipment and a new event plaza.
Concept: 'Family Learning and Growth'
This new space aims to be more than just a playground; it's designed for families to learn and grow together. It inherits the cultural value of the rooftop park, which once fostered many memories as a place for family relaxation, while striving to become a beloved "place" for the local community.
Co-created "Play Environment" with Jacuetsu Inc.
Jacuetsu Inc., with its slogan "The future is in play," is a partner in co-creating this rooftop space. They provide comprehensive "play environment" creation services, from planning and design to construction and maintenance.
