The Nagoya City Science Museum is hosting a special planetarium screening on Saturday, March 28, 2026, designed for everyone to enjoy.

"The Story of Canis Minor" with Live Subtitles

During the general screening of "The Story of Canis Minor," live subtitles will be provided for the narration. This inclusive event allows individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing, as well as hearing individuals, to share the wonder of the starry sky and the story together.

This initiative is a collaboration between the Summary Captioning Research Group Mago-no-te, the NPO Nagoya Association for the Support of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing, and the Nagoya City Science Museum.

How to Participate

Priority reservations are available for individuals who are deaf, hard of hearing, or require subtitles. Please refer to the recruitment flyer for details. Applications will be entered into a lottery if the number of applicants exceeds capacity. The application deadline is Saturday, March 14, 2026, at 5:00 PM. If seats are available, tickets can also be purchased on a first-come, first-served basis online or at the museum's ticket counter on the day of the event.
