You've likely heard of PCR tests in the news regarding COVID-19. This workshop will teach you the principles of PCR while you use asparagus DNA to investigate differences not visible to the naked eye. Discover what makes asparagus varieties distinct through hands-on experimentation.
This is a fantastic opportunity to dive into life science research, starting with "Why?" and "How?" (Note: The experiment uses the LAMP method).
