Hand Saw Press Spring ZINE Festival 2026: A Celebration of Art and Games at Shibuya Hikarie!

The "Hand Saw Press Spring ZINE Festival 2026" will be held at Shibuya Hikarie from May 2nd (Sat) to May 6th (Wed, holiday), 2026.

Now in its fifth year, this festival is more than just a place to buy ZINEs; it's a vibrant space where art and play intertwine, offering opportunities to view exhibitions, participate in workshops, and connect with diverse creators through ZINEs. This year's theme is "Games." A "Game Room" will be open within the venue, featuring ZINEs, card games, board games, and even fortune-telling, encouraging new discoveries and interactions as participants create and enjoy rules together.

The gallery space will showcase ZINEs, books, and poster works by guest artists from Hong Kong, Taipei, New York, and Berlin. Talk events will facilitate the exchange of information and opinions on the "current state" of the global ZINE scene. Furthermore, a risograph printer will be on-site, allowing participants to bring their ideas to life through artist-led workshops.

This is a unique space where everyone, creators and visitors alike, can become "creators." Don't miss this special event!
