Have you made plans for Golden Week yet? The "Yokohama Flower & Garden Festival 2026" will be held at PACIFICO Yokohama starting May 2, 2026! As one of Japan's largest gardening events, this festival colors Yokohama with flowers and greenery, building excitement for GREEN×EXPO 2027.
This year's theme is "Roses," featuring an abundant display of roses, Yokohama's city flower! The Main Garden will showcase "Gardens of Dreams" created through a collaboration between Marie Amano and Yoko Abe. Flower designer Laurent Bourrichon will present the world of "La cabane" (a cabin) where one spends time with the changing seasons, including live performances.
Furthermore, the "Yokohama Rose Collection" will introduce trendy garden roses, with highlights including "Aime-toe" from Delbard (France) and "Ansoleil" from Meilland (France). Don't miss the "Japan Rose Cut Flower Exhibition" to decide Japan's best, "Japan Selection" featuring new varieties, and the "Gardening Contest" with beautiful creations.
Popular guests will appear on stage daily, livening up the event with talks and demonstrations. With content for all ages, including the "Wood Education Caravan" and "Seed Ball Workshop" for children, it's a fun-filled event for the whole family.
