Movie "Yatsuhakamura" Collaboration Haunted House at Asakusa Hanayashiki

Asakusa Hanayashiki, Japan's oldest amusement park, will host a special collaboration event with the movie "Yatsuhakamura." The event, titled "Haunted House Invitation to Yatsuhakamura," offers a thrilling experience that faithfully recreates the world of the film.

A Terrifying Journey into the Film's World

The highlight of the event is the haunted house, themed around the world of "Yatsuhakamura." Visitors will be invited into a cursed village for a thrilling experience. From 6:00 PM onwards, participants can wear protective amulets, similar to those seen in the movie, to enhance their immersion. These amulets can be taken home as souvenirs.

The attraction is named "Haunted House Curse of the Hanging Neck." Children aged 5 and above can enter alone, while those 4 and under require accompaniment by a junior high school student or older. Entry requires 8 ride tickets (800 yen), but is also covered by the park's free pass.

Limited-Time Costume Exhibition and Photo Spots

Throughout the event, there will be exhibitions to deepen the understanding of the film's world. From August 1st to August 12th, the costume worn by "Kindaichi Kosuke" during filming will be on display. The waiting area will feature special decorations, movie trailers, costume and panel exhibits, and face-in-hole photo panels. While the general exhibits run until September 30th, the costume display is only available for a limited period.

Collaboration Food and Original Merchandise

Special collaboration food and drink items will be available for purchase at the special festival plaza in front of the stage from 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM. Each purchase comes with an "O-fuda (talisman) style sticker" as a bonus. Additionally, the "Maruhana Shoten" souvenir shop will sell original merchandise featuring newly drawn visuals exclusive to this event, also with purchase bonuses.

Special Campaigns

To commemorate the collaboration, a social media follow and repost campaign is underway. Five lucky winners will receive a special prize set including: a pair of movie tickets, exclusive movie merchandise (special incense, puffy stickers, original stickers), and a pair of Asakusa Hanayashiki one-day passes. The campaign runs from August 1st to August 23rd.

Furthermore, an admission discount campaign is offered. Present a discount banner from the official Asakusa Hanayashiki website at the entrance for 300 yen off per image (up to 8 people). This offer is valid from August 1st to August 23rd and can be used multiple times daily (once per day). Note that this discount does not apply to special tickets, one-day passes with a water play area, or group rates.
