The "89th All Japan Pen Calligraphy Exhibition" will be held at the Tokyo Metropolitan Industrial and Trade Center Taito-kan in Asakusa. Organized by the Japan Penmanship Research Association, which boasts over 95 years of teaching experience, this exhibition will showcase public submissions and works by judges. Visitors can enjoy a wide variety of calligraphy pieces, including those done with pen, brush pen, and Kana scripts.

The venue, Tokyo Metropolitan Industrial and Trade Center Taito-kan, is located in the internationally vibrant Asakusa area, close to the Sumida River and Senso-ji Temple. As an indoor exhibition facility, it offers a comfortable environment to focus on appreciating the artworks regardless of the weather. The exhibition will take place on the 7th floor, which features a spacious exhibition area of approximately 1,500 square meters, allowing for a relaxed viewing experience.

In addition to public entries from the general, children's, and student categories (hard and soft brush), the exhibition will feature outstanding works by the judges of the Japan Penmanship Research Association. This is a valuable opportunity to closely observe the delicate expressions and powerful brushstrokes cultivated through years of dedicated practice. The exhibition covers a broad spectrum of calligraphy, from traditional techniques to works incorporating contemporary sensibilities.

Admission is free, making it accessible for everyone to experience the art. Visitors are kindly asked to maintain a quiet atmosphere and show consideration for other attendees during their visit. Please follow the organizer's instructions regarding photography within the venue.
