Asakusa ROX July-August Events: Pop-up Shops & Workshops

Asakusa ROX will host a variety of events and limited-time shops from July to August 2026, offering visitors diverse experiences. These events will take place across the 1st floor entrance, 2nd-floor special venue, 3rd, and 4th floors, all easily accessible from Asakusa Station.

Limited-Time Shop: "Incense Station Kotokoto Wagon"

On Saturday, July 25th, the "Incense Station Kotokoto Wagon," a mobile shop from Kyoto's incense specialty store "Shoeido," will open on the 1st floor entrance of ROX. This pop-up shop will offer items that allow visitors to easily experience Japanese incense, such as sachets with customizable scents and Japanese paper, and convenient stick incense. Popular items include "Kotoawase" stick incense (6 types of scents, 1,000 JPY tax included) and "Fuwari To" aroma sachets (3 types of scents, customizable paper designs, 770 JPY tax included), perfect for personal use or as gifts.

Summer Kids Workshop Event: "Monozukuri Fes in Asakusa ROX"

From Saturday, August 15th to Sunday, August 16th, and again from Saturday, August 29th to Sunday, August 30th, the 2nd-floor special venue will host the "Monozukuri Fes," a kids' workshop event designed for summer vacation fun. With 13 different workshops offered daily, children can unleash their creativity. Activities include making bead pens (1,000 JPY), assorted keychains (500-1,500 JPY), original pouches (800 JPY), and painting "Hariko Pegasus" figures (2,000 JPY). Handmade goods will also be available for purchase, making it an enjoyable event for the whole family.

Notice Regarding LINE Coupon Prize Change

Please note that the prize for the "ROX Official LINE Friends Exclusive Lottery Coupon" distributed on July 1st, 2026, originally "Whole Strawberry Shaved Ice," will be temporarily changed to "Strawberry Candy" due to a machine malfunction. An announcement will be made on the website once the machine is repaired. Please be aware of this change if you plan to use the coupon.

Other Shop Information

Additionally, a new "Gap Store" will open on the 3rd floor of ROX･3G on Friday, September 18th, offering men's, women's, kids', and baby lines. "Mu-ten Kurazushi" on the 4th floor will extend its operating hours until midnight on specific dates: August 21-23, September 4-6, and September 18-20. "Contact I City" is also offering a 30% discount on disposable lenses for first-time customers from July 10th to September 23rd.

Asakusa ROX is located approximately a 5-minute walk from Asakusa Station on the Tokyo Metro Ginza Line and Toei Asakusa Line. On-site parking is available for visitors arriving by car.
