"NEW FRIENDS" SPECIAL INSTALLATION at Ikebukuro PARCO

The "NEW FRIENDS" SPECIAL INSTALLATION will be held at Ikebukuro PARCO from October 16, 2026, to November 1, 2026. This event marks the finale of a campaign that has been unfolding since spring, featuring a three-dimensional installation created in collaboration with the architectural group GARAGE, bringing to life the campaign's visual creations by the video production group Tsuribu Tokyo.

An Installation Culminating the Campaign

The campaign has uniquely expressed the essence of Ikebukuro, a city where diverse beings intersect, and the identity of Ikebukuro PARCO through a creative approach. Using "ponds" as a motif, it combined 3DCG animals with real-world nature, captured through a process of re-shooting collages through water. This installation will translate the world of the animals and "ponds" that have appeared in the visuals into a spatial experience.

Introducing the Collaborating Artists

GARAGE

An architectural collective composed of members specializing in architecture, video, and theater. They view architecture as "a stage in ongoing change," practicing design that encompasses not only space but also time. They aim to expand architectural expression through various media such as video, theater, festivals, and fieldwork.

Tsuribu Tokyo

A visual production group primarily focused on video creation. They experimentally traverse multiple fields including CG, live-action, graphics, and spatial design, undertaking projects like artworks, music videos, and exhibition direction.
