Touhou Project Doujinshi Event 'Meikasai 20' at Port Messe Nagoya

The "Touhou Meikasai 20" doujinshi convention, dedicated to the Touhou Project series, will be held at Port Messe Nagoya on May 31, 2026. This event celebrates fan-created works based on the popular Japanese series.

Event Overview

Meikasai is a fan-run event where creators can sell and display their original doujinshi (self-published works) and other merchandise related to the Touhou Project. This year, the event will take place in Hall 2 of Port Messe Nagoya.

Highlights

Beyond the 550 direct-participation circle spaces, "Meikasai X Planning" offers 45 "booth rental" spaces (180cm x 180cm). These spaces allow for more creative displays, including musical performances and live painting. Setup and breakdown are more flexible, opening up new possibilities for merchandise display. Cosplay is welcome and requires on-site registration. Planned activities include a Gensokyo Sokkyousai corner and a rock-paper-scissors tournament (under adjustment).
