Science Seminar "Let's Look Inside Medicine" @ Nagoya City Science Museum

The Nagoya City Science Museum, located in Sakae, Naka-ku, Nagoya, will host the "Science Seminar: Let's Look Inside Medicine." This event is designed for children and adults alike to deepen their understanding of medicines through hands-on experiments.

Experiencing the Mysteries of Medicine
Led by members of the Nagoya Pharmacists Association, including Ms. Asamiko Tomo, participants will engage in experiments to visually comprehend the internal structure of medicines and how they work within the body. This seminar provides a foundational step towards acquiring accurate knowledge about pharmaceuticals, crucial for maintaining health.

The program is specifically tailored for elementary school third graders through junior high school students and their accompanying parents or guardians. The exclusion of children attending alone aims to foster a shared learning experience, encouraging families to discuss and resolve any questions or concerns they may have regarding medication at home.

Participation and Application
Advance registration is required. Applicants can choose between sending a postcard with the necessary details or applying via the Nagoya City Electronic Application Service. Given that participation will be determined by lottery if applications exceed capacity, interested parties must ensure their application reaches the venue by the deadline: Wednesday, October 21, 2026. Notification of selection results will be sent a few days after the deadline.
