Autumn Festival Event at Tsuruma Park (Part 2): Oct 24 - Nov 15, 2026

The latter half of the "Autumn Festival Event 🍁" will be held at Tsuruma Park, located in Showa Ward, Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture, from Saturday, October 24, 2026, to Sunday, November 15, 2026. This event offers a variety of hands-on programs that leverage the park's rich natural surroundings, catering to a wide range of visitors from families to adults.

Enjoy Autumn with Diverse Experiential Programs

Throughout the event period, a variety of workshops and experiential activities are planned, primarily on weekends. On October 24th (Sat.) and 25th (Sun.), "Cafe Tsuruutei" (1000 yen per seat), offering tea and Japanese sweets, will be held at the historic Tsuruutei building. Also on these days, you can participate in "Let's Make My Handkerchief with Flowers and Grass Dyeing" (300 yen), using natural materials, and the "Autumn Nature Adventure Stamp Rally" (free), where you explore the park. Additionally, a "Tree Climbing® Experience" (2000 yen/person) will be held on October 25th (Sun.). This requires advance registration, which opens on Thursday, October 1st, at 9:00 AM.

On October 31st (Sat.) and November 1st (Sun.), there will be a "Kids' Flower Shop Experience" (free, with an optional +1000 yen) and a "Weekend Only! Tsuruma Park Florist" where you can create original stickers using pressed flowers (400 yen). Some of these experiences require advance registration or are on a first-come, first-served basis. During the same period, the "Bookworm" mobile library, in cooperation with the Tsuruma Central Library of Nagoya City, will be present in the park, along with a "Mosaic Tile Workshop" (starting from 700 yen).

From late October to November, the "Aisai Genki Project in Tsuruma Park" will feature sales of local Aichi vegetables with a focus on "local production for local consumption." A "Bulb Bazaar" (November 14th and 15th) will offer flower seedlings and bulbs at attractive prices. A workshop to make specimens using nuts from Tsuruma Park (500 yen) is also scheduled for November 15th (Sun.).
