Tsuruma Park in Nagoya's Showa Ward will host an "Autumn Festival Event" to welcome the fall season. This event will primarily span from Saturday, October 10th to Sunday, October 18th, 2026, with various activities planned throughout the park.

"Acorn Festival" for Diverse Experiences

From the first day, October 10th (Sat) to October 12th (Mon, Holiday), the "Acorn Festival" will be held in the 1st-floor exhibition room of the Greenery Center. It runs from 10:00 to 15:00 with an entry fee of 100 yen. Students from Daiichi Gakuin High School (Oct 10th) and Hokagakuen High School Interact Club (Oct 11th-12th) will cooperate, highlighting community engagement.

Contents for All Ages

On Saturday, October 10th, a free "Children's Experience Class" will be held at the Fusen Kinen Dan from 13:00 to 16:00 (cancelled in case of rain). On the same day, the "Tsuruma Civic Music Festival" will take place at the Soga-do from 10:30 to 17:00, with free viewing.

Sunday, October 11th, features the "Vegan Gourmet Festival 2026 Autumn" in the park from 10:30 to 16:00, with free admission. Additionally, on the 11th and the following day, October 12th (Mon, Holiday), a "Digital Festival" will be held in the 2nd-floor seminar room of the Greenery Center from 10:00 to 16:00, costing 200 yen per game. On Sunday the 11th, the Greenery Center will screen "Kinoko Teikoku: The Movie" for free at Fusen Kinen Dan, and on Monday the 12th, "Chef" will be shown for 1500 yen (reception starts at 16:00, screening at 17:45). This film screening requires advance application, with a capacity of 200 people.

Events Connecting with Nature and Culture

On Monday, October 12th, the "Kids' Festival Corner" will be held in front of the Greenery Center from 11:00 to 15:00, costing 100 yen per play (cancelled in case of rain). Over the weekend, "Young Tsuru Tea Ceremony" will be held at Tsuru-tei on October 17th (Sat) and 18th (Sun), costing 500 yen per session. 110 people per day (first-come, first-served) can participate, with cooperation from Kinjo Gakuin University (17th) and Nagoya City Kikuri High School (18th).

During the same period, October 17th (Sat) and 18th (Sun), "Let's Make My Own Handkerchief with Flowers and Plant Dye" will be held on the 1st floor of the Greenery Center. Each session has a capacity of 10 people and costs 300 yen. Furthermore, on October 10th (Sat), 12th (Mon, Holiday), and 17th (Sat), a free "Park Guided Tour" will be offered from 10:30 to 11:10 (meet in front of the main flower garden; cancelled in case of rain). While advance reservations are recommended, same-day participation may be possible depending on the number of attendees.
