Get ready for the "Disaster Preparedness Experience World" event at Asunal Kanayama! This event aims to foster an understanding of "mutual assistance within the neighborhood" and the importance of community interaction in disaster preparedness.
Six hands-on booths will be set up, offering activities like pretending to be a firefighter, making stretchers, and constructing cardboard beds and chairs. There will also be a fire truck display for kids with photo opportunities, a candy scooping game using a mini hydraulic excavator, an experience with the "ORIRO" descent device for emergency window escapes, and a demonstration of breaking through partition boards commonly found on apartment balconies.
Participants can collect stamps on a rally sheet, and children who complete all booths will receive a disaster whistle. Event flyers from local community organizations will also be distributed, encouraging engagement with neighborhood initiatives.
