Shota Shirota's Art Inspires a Journey of Coffee and Experiences at Matsuzakaya Nagoya

An exceptional event, inspired by the world of artist Shota Shirota, is taking place at Matsuzakaya Nagoya, located in Sakae, Naka-ku, Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture.

This event, centered around Shirota's solo exhibition "PLAYSCAPE," offers a variety of experiences as visitors explore his art. During the exhibition period, "Think LOCAL Trip Coffee," featuring a food truck decorated with Shirota's art that travels to six cities nationwide, makes its Nagoya debut. From May 22nd (Fri) to 24th (Sun), "COFFEE LONG SEASON" from Osaka will be present, serving specialty coffee. A tasting service is also available for those who complete a survey (first 200 visitors daily).

Furthermore, "WALL MUSEUM" spaces located throughout the store will display artworks by Shirota depicting seven cities. A digital stamp rally will be held from May 21st (Thu) to June 2nd (Tue), where collecting pieces from four locations will earn participants an original card. The event also features a grand piano painted by Shirota and introduces collaborative ORIS mechanical watches.
