Tudor POP-UP STORE "Matsuzakaya Nagoya Basho" to be Held
Tudor's POP-UP STORE, celebrating its sumo partnership, is held at Matsuzakaya Nagoya, featuring new and classic timepieces.
Swiss luxury watch brand Tudor is hosting a POP-UP STORE titled "Tudor POP-UP STORE ‘Matsuzakaya Nagoya Basho’" at Matsuzakaya Nagoya, North Building 1F GENTA THE STAGE, to celebrate its partnership with professional sumo.
The event will showcase a comprehensive collection of Tudor's timepieces, from recent releases to iconic classic models. Highlights include models that garnered attention at "Watches and Wonders 2026" held in Geneva in April 2026. The "BLACK BAY" collection will feature prominently, with the "BLACK BAY 68," boasting the largest case diameter of 43mm in the collection, and the popular "PELAGOS," known for its high functionality and fashion appeal.
The "BLACK BAY 68" is characterized by its 43mm case, the largest in Tudor's lineup since its 2025 announcement, offering both excellent legibility and robustness. It is powered by Tudor's in-house automatic mechanical movement, "Cal.MT5601-U," which has passed METAS certification and earned the "Master Chronometer" rating. This certification attests to its precision, as well as its superior magnetic resistance, water resistance, and a power reserve of 70 hours, making it a reliable companion for any situation. The dial features Tudor's signature "Tudor Blue" or "Silver" colors, complemented by the "Snowflake" hands, a design icon introduced in 1968.
Also on display is the "BLACK BAY 54," featuring a compact 37mm case. Its sunray-brushed dial and matching bezel are presented in a new "Tudor Blue" shade added in 2026, creating a sophisticated look with the contrasting white luminous material. This 37mm size is ideal for slimmer wrists and can be worn stylishly by both men and women. The hour hand sports the brand's iconic "Snowflake" design from 1969, while the seconds hand has a classic lollipop shape inspired by vintage models. Both models are treated with high-luminosity luminous paint for excellent visibility in low-light conditions.
In addition to these models, the fair will feature special collections exclusively available during this event. Please note that entry may be restricted due to crowd levels, so arriving with ample time is advised.
