Experience the "Mede-Thai": Golden Prayers Exhibition at Matsuzakaya Nagoya
Matsuzakaya Nagoya is pleased to present a solo exhibition by acclaimed foil craft artist Hiroto Rakusho, titled "HIROTO RAKUSHO Solo Exhibition “Mede-Thai” 黄金の祈り-日本∞タイ 光のあわい" (Golden Prayers - Japan∞Thailand: The Interplay of Light).
This exhibition explores the "spirit of prayer" and "memories of beauty" shared between Japan and Thailand. Hiroto Rakusho views foil not merely as decoration, but as a "mirror" reflecting the depths of the heart and unseen presences. The exhibition promises a space where the solemn splendor of Thai temples and the quietude and emptiness of Japan resonate, creating an atmosphere where deep "serenity" and "prayer" are felt beyond the golden radiance.
Featured works include "Kyogetsu (Purple)" and "Getsugyo." Rakusho, based in Kyoto's Nishijin district, is a certified Traditional Craftsman and a recipient of the "Future Master Craftsman" award. His precise techniques and aesthetic sensibilities are highly regarded, extending to the replication of national treasures and artworks in prestigious hotels and corporate spaces worldwide.
Don't miss this opportunity to immerse yourself in a world of art woven from light and prayer.
