"Hisaya market," a market focused on everyday life, is held every 10th of the month at ZONE1 Shibafu Hiroba in Hisaya Odori Park, Nagoya.
This market brings together fresh local vegetables, handmade food items, and goods that brighten daily living. It aims to be an urban oasis where visitors can enjoy meals and shopping on the open lawn, fostering encounters with new people and cultures.
The venue also features a kids' space called "Kodomo Hiroba" run by childcare professionals, and a "Picture Book Exchange" where old picture books can be swapped for new ones. Participants can exchange up to five books per person, provided they bring their own bag. However, books that are dirty, torn, softcover, have writing or graffiti, or contain stickers or tape are not eligible for exchange.
