The "Kabuto & Kuwagata Forest of Encounters in Odaiba 2026" event will be held at Decks Tokyo Beach, 1-6-1 Daiba, Minato-ku, Tokyo, from July 16 (Thursday) to September 23 (Wednesday, holiday), 2026. This is an interactive experience event.

Summer Event to Meet Exotic Insects

This event allows visitors to directly interact with a variety of beetles and stag beetles, including Japanese species like the Rhinoceros Beetle and Sawtooth Stag Beetle, as well as exotic ones such as the Atlas Beetle, Hercules Beetle, and Giraffa Stag Beetle. It offers a rare opportunity to observe these fascinating insects up close, which are usually only seen in books. Live specimens will be on display and available for purchase.

Engaging Activities and Merchandise

In addition to selling breeding kits, insect-themed merchandise, and books, the event will feature a "Insect Lottery" (800 yen per play), offering a chance to win live insects or limited-edition goods. The popular "Ania" series by Takara Tomy will also have a dedicated corner with beetle and stag beetle toys and figures, perfect for educational play for children. A reading corner for the "Kadokawa's Collectible Encyclopedia GET! Insects" and a prize machine filled with beetle and stag beetle-themed items ensure fun for all ages.

Located on the 3rd floor of the Seaside Mall at Decks Tokyo Beach, the venue is indoors, providing a comfortable environment to enjoy the event regardless of the summer heat. It promises a memorable summer experience filled with the wonders of insects.
