Playful Dinosaur Land: Fossil Dig & Gem Hunt at Ariake Garden!

The "Playful Dinosaur Land" event is coming to Ariake Garden, located at 2-1-8 Ariake, Koto-ku, Tokyo. This exciting event offers a variety of dinosaur-themed activities for children and adults alike.

Embark on an Adventure in the Dinosaur World

At the venue, children can engage in thrilling excavation experiences such as the "Mysterious Sand Fossil Get Experience" and the "Gem Digging Tournament" where real mineral stones are unearthed. All fossils (replicas) and gems (real mineral stones) found during the excavations can be taken home. Furthermore, there's a 1 in 10 chance of finding rare fossils like Tyrannosaurus Rex or Mosasaurus teeth!

Diverse Attractions and Workshops

The "Dinosaur Land" area features "Toy World" where you can play with dioramas from the dinosaur era, "Dinosaur Quiz Rally" to test your knowledge by solving puzzles around the venue, and "Drawing Dinosaur" where your drawings come to life on a screen. There's also an exhibition corner to see preserved horseshoe crabs and touch real fossils, stimulating curiosity.

In the workshop area, you can participate in "Let's Make a Fossil Replica!" to create your own replica of a Tyrannosaurus Rex or Triceratops tooth, which takes about 30 minutes to dry. Other creative experiences include making "Dinosaur Flappy" and decorating "Jurassic Eggs."

Additional Paid Experiences

For an additional fee, you can enjoy "Real Fossil & Gem Lottery" for a chance to win actual fossils or gems, "Floating Dinosaur Scooping" to catch dinosaurs floating in water, and "Dinosaur Dice Challenge" to win dinosaur merchandise by rolling dice. The "Mizumizu Ticket" can also be used for these paid attractions.

• Time: 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Last entry 4:40 PM)
• Venue: Ariake Garden, 2F Central Atrium Plaza (Dinosaur Land), 2F Next to Megane Ichiba (Workshop Area)
• Admission Fee: Main Area: 1,100 JPY (tax included) for ages 3 and up. Includes admission ticket and a 500 JPY Ariake Garden Fashion & Goods shopping voucher.
• Workshops: Free admission; experience fees payable at each booth (cash only).
• Participation Requirements: Children under school age require accompaniment by someone in high school or older. Children aged 2 and under are free (no shopping voucher).

Important Notes:
Admission to the main area includes a shopping voucher usable at designated fashion and goods stores within Ariake Garden for purchases over 2,000 JPY. Depending on crowd levels, entry to the main area may be managed with timed slots and limited capacity.
