1st Plant Operation Show 2026 at Tokyo Big Sight

The "1st Plant Operation Show" will be held at Tokyo Big Sight in Koto-ku, Tokyo, from July 15th to 17th, 2026. This exhibition, dedicated to the latest technologies and solutions supporting plant operations, is being held for the first time.

Evolution and Objectives of the Exhibition

This exhibition evolves from the "Maintenance & Resilience Expo" by delving deeper into the plant O&M domain, focusing on operation-specific products to meet the needs of the plant industry. It was planned in response to visitor requests for operation-focused solutions and exhibitor desires to complement the operation aspects. A wide range of innovative technologies and solutions contributing to plant productivity improvement, safety enhancement, and DX promotion will be showcased.

Exhibitor Categories and Featured Solutions

Featured products and solutions include DCS, PLC, control systems, monitoring systems, production management systems, data analysis, remote operation support and training tools, AR/VR, energy saving, DX, smart security, and consulting services related to plant operations. It will be an opportunity to grasp the latest trends in areas such as automation and control systems, AI/IoT utilization, and energy management.

Seminars and Lectures

During the exhibition, special lectures and seminars related to manufacturing and plant operations will be held. On July 15th, representatives from the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) will speak on "METI's Initiatives in Smart Security" and "Japan's Energy Policy and Energy Security." Other engaging topics include "Initiatives Towards Unmanned Night Operations - Maintenance Operation DX" by Tokuyama Engineering Center and "Frontiers of Deep-Sea Mineral Resource Research Around Minamitorishima" by the University of Tokyo. Asahi Kasei will also present "DX Initiatives Centered on the Maintenance Domain in Manufacturing Sites." These seminars are free to attend with advance registration.
