The National Museum of Nature and Science (Miraikan) will host an experimental project, "AI Science Communicator," where visitors can interact with AI that learns and grows alongside humans.
Discover New Perspectives Through AI Dialogue
This pilot program introduces "AI Science Communicators (AISC)," AI developed based on nine of Miraikan's human science communicators (SC). Participants will use smartphones to engage in conversations with AISC while exploring the permanent exhibitions. Each AISC uniquely embodies the personality and speaking style of its human model. By asking questions about exhibits or discussing scientific topics, AISC learns from these interactions and evolves. This learning is then shared with human SCs, fostering mutual growth between humans and AI.

After a brief explanation and consent form at the reception, enjoy up to one hour of AISC interaction, followed by a feedback survey.
