Nadasousou & Takarajima 20th/1st Anniversary Event at Okinawa Arena

A special event celebrating the 20th anniversary of the film "Nadasousou" and the 1st anniversary of "Takarajima" will be held at the Okinawa Arena, located at 1-16-1 Yamauchi, Okinawa City.

Event Overview

This event commemorates significant milestones for two acclaimed Japanese films, offering a unique opportunity for movie enthusiasts. Held at the expansive Okinawa Arena, attendees can immerse themselves in the cinematic worlds of these films while enjoying related festivities.

Screening Schedule and Special Guests

The event features special screenings of both films. "Nadasousou" will be shown starting at 12:00, followed by "Takarajima" at 16:00. A highlight will be the stage greeting with special guests for the "Nadasousou" screening. Lead actor Satoshi Tsumabuki, director Hiroyuki Doi, and MC Shinichi Miyajima (who also served as the dialect coach for "Nadasousou") are scheduled to appear for a valuable talk session, sharing their thoughts on the film and behind-the-scenes stories from its production.

Concurrent Activities

Alongside the film screenings, a panel exhibition showcasing the filming locations will also be held. This will allow attendees to deepen their understanding of the films' narratives and appreciate the beautiful Okinawan scenery featured. Merchandise related to the films may also be available for purchase.

Admission to the event is free, with all seats being unreserved. Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis. Each person may apply for up to four tickets; for more than four, please use a different representative name. Preschool children do not require a ticket if seated on a guardian's lap. Wheelchair seating is available (up to two tickets including a companion). Please note that cancellations or changes after application are not permitted.

Important Notes for Attendees

Bringing food and drinks, including canned beverages and plastic bottles, into the venue is prohibited. Popcorn and soft drinks will be available for purchase inside the arena, but only cashless payment methods will be accepted.
