National Report Session

Candidate Briefing Session
Following the report session, a Candidate Briefing will take place from 4:15 PM to 5:45 PM. This session specifically targets aspiring candidates interested in running for local elections under the Sankei Party's banner. It aims to address concerns about campaigning, outline the responsibilities and lifestyle of an elected official, and explain how to contribute to improving local communities and Japan. Mizuho Umemura, a member of the House of Councillors, will serve as a speaker, sharing her experiences and details about the party's principles and support systems for candidates. Participation in this briefing is limited to individuals under 70 years of age, with a capacity of 50 attendees.
Eligibility and Participation Fee
To be eligible for the Candidate Briefing, applicants must agree with the Sankei Party's philosophy and platform, hold Japanese nationality (dual nationality is not permitted, and naturalized citizens are excluded), and be under 70 years old at the time of application. They must also agree to act in accordance with decisions made by the party's headquarters or branches. False declarations or omissions may lead to disqualification. The participation fee is 500 yen, with free admission for those under 18. Attendees under 18 must present a student ID or other proof of age.
