Eye of Fire 'SIGNS' Exhibition at Sapporo PARCO by Makoto Maeda

The "Eye of Fire 'SIGNS'" solo exhibition by illustrator Makoto Maeda is set to be held at PARCO FACTORY on the 7th floor of Sapporo PARCO. This event focuses on the "Eye of Fire (EOF)" character, a blue demon with fiery eyes, created by Maeda in 2020. Inspired by mythological monsters, RPG creatures, and the "flame of fighting spirit" depicted in sports manga, EOF is characterized as a mischievous but not malicious entity living among humans.

The exhibition will showcase new works from the "SIGNS" series, which takes inspiration from road signs and directional indicators, alongside three-dimensional pieces, sketches, and past merchandise and projects. In a unique twist, EOF will also appear in various signs throughout the Sapporo PARCO building, inviting visitors to embark on a scavenger hunt for the character within the mall. This interactive element adds an extra layer of engagement for attendees.

Located on the 7th floor of Sapporo PARCO, PARCO FACTORY is an indoor venue easily accessible from JR Sapporo Station and Subway Odori Station.
