Konishi Yasuharu & Hashimoto Toru Release Event @ Tower Records Shibuya

An in-store release commemorative event featuring music producer/DJ Yasuharu Konishi and editor/DJ Toru Hashimoto (SUBURBIA) will be held at Tower Records Shibuya, located in Jinnan, Shibuya Ward. This event celebrates the release of the book "Shibuya Culture Kogen-gaku -- Life History of Rare Editor Toru Hashimoto (SUBURBIA)" and the compilation CD "Cafe Apres-Midi Meets Studio Ghibli," which was produced under Hashimoto's supervision and features Konishi.

The event will include a talk show about Shibuya culture by both artists, followed by a mini-live performance by Yasuharu Konishi. The mini-live is expected to feature a new cover of Yumi Arai's "Hikouki Gumo," recorded for the compilation CD. Both the talk show and mini-live are free to attend, allowing for easy participation.

Furthermore, an autograph session with Toru Hashimoto will be held for those who purchase or bring eligible merchandise to the venue on the event day. Participation in the autograph session is open to customers who purchase the target products at the venue or bring their own items for signing. Please note that no "Autograph Session Ticket" will be distributed. The eligible items for the autograph session include the book "Shibuya Culture Kogen-gaku," the CD "Cafe Apres-Midi Meets Studio Ghibli," and the 7-inch single "Konishi Yasuharu + Sogaibe Keiichi 'Hikouki Gumo + Yasashisa ni Tsutsumareta Nara'." Advance sales of these items are scheduled for the day of the event, but reservations and holds are not accepted.

TOWER VINYL SHIBUYA on the 6th floor of Tower Records Shibuya, the venue, is known as a hub for Shibuya's culture. The event will take place indoors, with outside food and drinks prohibited, and no smoking or drinking within the venue. Attendees are asked to be considerate of other guests and follow the instructions of the staff.
