Ririko Takagi "Ysaye: 6 Sonatas for Solo Violin" CD Release Event

Join violinist Ririko Takagi for a special CD release event celebrating her new album, "Ysaye: 6 Sonatas for Solo Violin." The event will be held on Sunday, July 12, 2026, at Tower Records Shibuya, located in the heart of Shibuya.

Event Details and Participation

The event will feature a mini live performance by Ririko Takagi followed by a signing session. While the mini-live performance is free to attend, participation in the signing session requires a "Signing Session Participation Ticket." These tickets will be distributed to customers who purchase the CD "Ysaye: 6 Sonatas for Solo Violin" (Product Number: RRSC-20016, Price: 3,300 JPY) at Tower Records Shibuya starting from Wednesday, June 24, 2026, when the product becomes available. Tickets are limited and will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis until they run out.

At the signing session, Ririko Takagi will sign one location on either the purchased CD or its booklet per participation ticket. Please remember to bring your purchased product for the signing. Signatures will not be provided on items other than the designated products. To secure a participation ticket, you can pre-order the CD at the store, by phone, or through the Tower Records online store (selecting Shibuya store pickup).

Event Schedule and Venue Information

Doors will open for gathering at 13:30, with the event commencing at 14:00. The event will take place on the 8th floor of Tower Records Shibuya, in the "TOWER CLASSICAL" space. Please note that eating and drinking are prohibited within the venue, and the event will primarily be standing room only. Due to anticipated crowds, queues may form without prior notice, and attendance may be limited if the venue becomes too crowded. Recording, filming, and photography are strictly prohibited during the event with any equipment.

Important Notes and Heatstroke Prevention

The signing session participation tickets are valid only for the event on July 12th and will not be reissued if lost, stolen, or damaged. Please be aware that participation may be canceled due to the artist's circumstances. As the event is scheduled for summer, attendees are strongly advised to take precautions against heatstroke, such as bringing hats, towels, cooling fans, staying hydrated, consuming salt, and taking regular breaks. If you feel unwell or experience any discomfort, please inform staff immediately.
