Shuji Kikuchi 1st Photobook "Ambivalent" Release Event at SHIBUYA TSUTAYA

An event celebrating the release of actor Shuji Kikuchi's first photobook, "Ambivalent," will be held on Saturday, July 11, 2026, at SHIBUYA TSUTAYA. This special occasion will take place at the dedicated event space within SHIBUYA TSUTAYA, a prominent landmark in Shibuya.

The event offers various benefits depending on the number of photobooks purchased. While the "1-book ticket" includes only the photobook handover, purchasing three or more books grants attendees a signed, limited-edition event photo with a personalized name. Furthermore, "5-book tickets" offer more exclusive experiences, with option A including a two-shot Cheki (instant photo) session and option B providing a voice message from Kikuchi.

The designs for the limited-edition photos vary by venue, with three types to choose from. However, availability is on a first-come, first-served basis. Personalization for the signed photos is limited to a first name or surname, written in hiragana or katakana, up to 10 characters. Two-shot Cheki sessions do not allow for autographs, posing, or expression requests. For voice messages, attendees will use their own smartphones to record a message from Kikuchi, which will include the attendee's name and one of three venue-specific messages chosen on the day.

Participation requires adherence to infection control measures. Staff and performers may wear masks, and attendees are asked to refrain from participating if feeling unwell, to sanitize their hands, maintain distance, and avoid loud conversations. Gifts and letters can be left in a designated box at the venue and cannot be handed over directly. Prohibited items include food and drinks, plants, cash, gift certificates, hazardous materials, and stuffed animals. Direct physical contact with performers during the event is not permitted.
