Thundercat "Distracted" Release Special Signing Event at Tower Records Shibuya

A special signing event with the acclaimed artist Thundercat, celebrating the release of his latest album "Distracted," will be held at Tower Records Shibuya. This exclusive opportunity takes place on May 18, 2026, at the B1F CUTUP STUDIO.

Thundercat is renowned globally for his unique bass playing and distinctive musical style. His new album, "Distracted," released on April 3, 2026, via "Brainfeeder," features an unreleased collaboration with the late Mac Miller, alongside contributions from A$AP Rocky, Tame Impala, and more.

The signing session will commence at 20:00. To participate, customers who purchase the eligible products at Tower Records Shibuya between April 3, 2026 (upon product arrival) and April 12, 2026 (store closing) will receive an "Event Participation Lottery Ticket." Winners of this lottery will be issued a "Signing Event Participation Ticket."

Winning numbers will be announced on April 24, 2026, at 19:00 via the Tower Records Shibuya event page or their official X (formerly Twitter) account.

At the signing event, each "Signing Event Participation Ticket" allows one person to get one item (CD, vinyl, T-shirt of "Distracted" released on April 3rd, or a personal item) signed by the artist. Please note that the artist will not write names or dates other than the signature itself.

Additionally, a "Brainfeeder" pop-up space will be temporarily available on the 1st floor of Tower Records Shibuya during the same period, offering another way to immerse yourself in the world of the new album.
