3rd Anniversary Bunkamura Gallery Selection 2026 at Shibuya Hikarie

Bunkamura Gallery 8/, located on the 8th floor of Shibuya Hikarie, will host "3rd Anniversary Bunkamura Gallery Selection 2026" from June 5th to June 28th, 2026. This exhibition celebrates the 3rd anniversary of the gallery's relocation and relaunch as "Bunkamura Gallery 8/". It features a curated selection of 12 artists chosen by the gallery staff, showcasing a diverse range of materials and expressions including paintings, glass, and ceramic works, creating a new harmony.

The exhibition is divided into two parts, with artwork changing between periods. The first period runs from June 5th (Fri) to June 14th (Sun), and the second period from June 18th (Thu) to June 28th (Sun). The gallery will be closed for exhibition changes from June 15th (Mon) to June 17th (Wed). Admission is free, and the gallery is open from 11:00 to 20:00. Visitors can experience the unique worlds of 12 artists, including glass sculptures imbued with the essence of life and death, works that weave landscapes of memory through layered materials, and charming wooden cat sculptures.
