Riyoko Takagi "Chasing the World" Release Event at Tower Records Shibuya

Pianist Riyoko Takagi will hold a release commemoration event for her new album "Chasing the World" at Tower Records Shibuya. The venue is TOWER CLASSICAL SHIBUYA on the 8th floor of Tower Records Shibuya, located in Jinnan, Shibuya Ward. Riyoko Takagi, who has achieved number 1 on the jazz charts with all six of her releases from Steelpan Records and is popular across live houses, concerts, social media, YouTube, and TV appearances. Her long-awaited new album, "Chasing the World," was created as she traveled the world seeking her own sound, visiting NY, Montreal, Boston, and Tokyo. To commemorate the release of this highly anticipated work, an in-store event will be held at TOWER CLASSICAL SHIBUYA on the 8th floor of Tower Records Shibuya. This is a rare opportunity to enjoy a live performance by Takagi up close on the grand piano at TOWER CLASSICAL SHIBUYA.

Event Details and Participation Method

The event will consist of a mini-live performance and a signing session by Riyoko Takagi. The mini-live performance is free to attend. Participation in the signing session requires a "Signing Session Participation Ticket," which will be distributed to customers who purchase the target product. Signatures will be applied to the purchased CD, so please remember to bring it on the day of the event.

"Signing Session Participation Tickets" will be distributed from July 14, 2026 (Tuesday), upon purchase of the target product at the Tower Records Shibuya 7th-floor register, with one ticket per purchased item. Reservations are accepted in-store, by phone, or online via Tower Records. Tickets will only be secured if you select "Shibuya Store Pickup" for store reservations. Pickup at other stores or home delivery are not eligible.
