The Tokyo Skytree Town® Koinobori Festival 2026 runs from April 10 to May 6. Approximately 1,000 carp streamers and special Chinanago streamers will be displayed. Enjoy a vibrant spring celebration!
Tokyo Skytree Town® Koinobori Festival 2026 is Here!
Get ready for the "Tokyo Skytree Town® Koinobori Festival 2026," taking place from April 10th to May 6th, 2026, at Tokyo Solamachi®!
To celebrate Children's Day, approximately 1,000 carp streamers (koinobori) will be displayed throughout the Tokyo Skytree Town area. With cooperation from regions famous for their carp streamers, such as Kazo City in Saitama, Tatebayashi City in Gunma, and Kato City in Hyogo, the sight of colorful carp streamers fluttering in the sky will be spectacular. A jumbo carp streamer measuring 100 meters in length is also expected to appear.
Furthermore, in collaboration with Sumida Aquarium, unique giant streamers inspired by the garden eel (chinanago) and its relatives will be featured! It will be fun to search for these "Chinanago Streamers" hidden amongst the other carp streamers.
