Roof-Top World Special Night 2026 at Yokohama World Porters

Yokohama World Porters will host "Roof-Top World Special Night 2026" on the evening of Monday, August 24, 2026. This special one-night event is held in conjunction with the "Minatomirai Festival" supporting the Yokohama Green Expo.

A Night to Enjoy Minatomirai's Night View and Fireworks

The "Roof-Top World," renovated last year, offers a panoramic view of the Minatomirai cityscape and is a new popular spot. This event will open this rooftop space for a fee, allowing attendees to enjoy a special summer night with fireworks and night views. Please note that visibility may be partially obscured depending on the height of the fireworks and the viewing area.

Ticket Purchase and Admission

One ticket is required per person. Children under elementary school age are free but must be accompanied by an adult. All tickets are digital, with no paper tickets issued. Please prepare a screenshot or printed version of your digital ticket for entry.

Reception begins at 15:00 on the 6th floor event hall of Yokohama World Porters. After presenting your ticket at reception and receiving a wristband, you will be guided to the rooftop in order of your ticket number starting from 17:30. Age verification may be required when exchanging for a wristband. Tickets are area-specific, allowing you to choose your preferred spot within the designated area.

Exclusive benefits for ticket holders include special discounts and services for kimono purchase and rental at "Kyoto Fujisei," a kimono specialty store on the 4th floor of Yokohama World Porters. Enhance your summer memories in a festive kimono.

Tickets are non-cancellable after purchase, and refunds will not be issued even in the event of cancellation due to inclement weather or other unavoidable reasons. Be aware of traffic restrictions that will be in place around Yokohama World Porters from approximately 18:00. Access to Yokohama World Porters may be restricted via routes other than the Bankoku Bridge after 18:00, so public transportation is recommended.

Venue Rules and Prohibited Items

Entry to the rooftop is restricted to individuals wearing the wristband received at reception (17:30 - 20:00). Wristbands must be presented for re-entry. Space reservation is limited to 1 square meter per person; excessive reservations may be cleared by staff. The持ち込み of chairs, tents, tall cushions, camera tripods, and selfie sticks is prohibited as they may obstruct other guests. Dedicated spaces are available for wheelchair users and individuals with disabilities. Strollers will generally be stored at the 6th-floor reception, but can be brought into the venue upon request to staff, with viewing possible from the rear of the area. Outside food and drinks are permitted. Smoking is allowed only in designated smoking areas within the building. Pets are not allowed.

To ease congestion after the event, staggered exits will be implemented. Entry to the "Roof-Top World" is possible without a wristband after the fireworks conclude.
