Join us for "Look Up at the Yokohama Night Sky! 2026 Autumn," a free event dedicated to stars and space, held at Yokohama World Porters in Yokohama City.

Event Highlights

This event offers a wonderful opportunity to engage with astronomy. On the 6th floor, a special planetarium will be set up for two days only, providing approximately 20-minute programs about stars and the universe within a special air dome. Screenings are scheduled from 12:00 PM to 4:30 PM at 45-minute intervals on both days.

Participation in the planetarium requires a numbered ticket, with about 20 spots available per session. These tickets will be distributed starting at 11:30 AM in front of the rental space on the 6th floor. One person can collect up to five tickets for their group.

From 6:00 PM, weather permitting, a stargazing session will take place at the event plaza on the rooftop "Rooftop World." Equipped with telescopes and binoculars, experienced staff will guide you through the autumn night sky, offering a chance to observe celestial bodies alongside Yokohama's night view. This session is free, requires no reservation, and runs from 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM with flexible entry and exit. Please note that entry to the plaza may be restricted during peak times for safety.

Additionally, a merchandise corner featuring science-related crafts will be available.
