Hanayashiki's Exciting Silver Week 2026: Extended Hours & Special Events

Asakusa Hanayashiki, located at 2-28-1 Asakusa, Taito-ku, Tokyo, will host "Hanayashiki's Exciting Silver Week 2026" from Saturday, September 19 to Wednesday, September 23, 2026. This event offers extended evening hours and unique attractions for visitors during Japan's Silver Week holiday period.

A key feature of this year's event is the extended operating hours, with the park remaining open until 9:00 PM, an extension from the usual 6:00 PM closing time. This allows visitors to enjoy the attractions along with the night view of Asakusa. Please note that on Sunday, September 20, the park will close at 6:00 PM. Some facilities, such as the Maruhana Amusement Corner, Game Plaza, Panda Car®, NAKED Hanageshiki, Hanasora Garden, Gashapon no Depato, and Maruhana Store, may have different operating hours or be excluded from unlimited ride passes. "After 3 Tickets" will be available, offering discounted admission starting from 3:00 PM. These tickets allow guests to enter the park at a reduced price and enjoy attractions until the 9:00 PM closing time, providing approximately six hours of fun. Ticket prices include discounted rates for adults (junior high school to 64 years old) at 1,300 yen for admission (300 yen off) and 3,700 yen for a one-day pass (900 yen off). Discounts are also available for children (5 years to elementary school) and seniors (65 years and older), while children aged 0-4 enter for free. Advance online purchase begins on Wednesday, September 9, at 5:00 PM, and same-day tickets can be purchased at the Asakusa Gate starting from 3:00 PM.

The event also includes special hands-on activities. On September 19 (Sat) and September 21 (Mon, holiday), the "Kawara-wari Challenge" (tile-breaking challenge) will be held in front of the park's Flower Stage. Participants can try breaking three tiles for 1,650 yen or five tiles for 2,200 yen, making it a great experience for children trying this for the first time.

From September 22 (Tue, holiday) to September 23 (Wed, holiday), the "Exciting Human Crane Game" will be available. In this unique game, children act as the crane, and adults operate it to grab prizes. It's a fun family activity where cooperation leads to winning prizes like Panda Car merchandise and snacks. The participation fee is 500 yen, and it is open to children aged 3 and up (under 50kg).

Additionally, original merchandise designed by illustrator "Hayashiuki" will be sold at the "Maruhana Store." These goods, featuring charming, retro-style illustrations themed around memories at Hanayashiki, include items like a cooler lunch tote (2,200 yen), a mug bottle (2,420 yen), and stickers (starting from 400 yen).

A social media campaign using the hashtag "#UkikiSilverWeek" is also planned.
