Asakusa Hanayashiki 'Kimono Discount 2026': Free Entry in Kimono

Asakusa Hanayashiki, a long-established amusement park in Asakusa, will host the "Kimono Discount 2026" campaign from September 2nd (Wednesday) to October 31st, 2026. During this period, visitors wearing traditional Japanese attire such as kimonos, yukatas, hakamas, or jinbeis will receive free admission.

Free Admission and Special Benefits for Kimono Wearers

In addition to free entry, participants in the "Kimono Discount 2026" will receive a half-price coupon for their next visit and a novelty sticker (limited quantity). This is a great opportunity to enjoy the retro charm of Asakusa and Hanayashiki while dressed in traditional Japanese clothing. Please note that separate fees apply for riding attractions.

Weekday-Exclusive 'Photo-raction' Time

On weekdays during the campaign, two attractions, the Merry-Go-Round and the Swan, will be temporarily stopped for 10 minutes twice a day, allowing visitors to take unique photos. This special "Photo-raction" time is free for all visitors, not just those in kimonos. However, the use of photography equipment is prohibited.

Original Can Mirror Gift with Rental Shop Partnership

Visitors who present a special flyer distributed by partner kimono rental shops in the Asakusa area will receive an original can mirror (limited quantity). Consider renting a kimono to fully enjoy exploring the streets of Asakusa.

SNS Campaign for a Chance to Win Prizes

An SNS campaign is also being held. Post photos of yourself in kimono taken at Hanayashiki, using hashtags like "#KimonoHanayashiki" or "#KimonoDeHanayashiki," for a chance to win a pair of admission tickets. Eligible platforms include X, Instagram, and TikTok.
