Mu Certified! Nostalgic Rumor Flower Garden at Asakusa Hanayashiki

The "Mu Certified! Nostalgic Rumor Flower Garden" event will be held at Asakusa Hanayashiki, located at 2-28-1 Asakusa, Taito-ku, Tokyo, from Wednesday, September 30, 2026, to Sunday, November 1, 2026.

This event, themed around "nostalgic rumors" certified by the magazine "Mu," features various attractions throughout the park.

Event Highlights

"You are the Witness! Nostalgic Rumor Rally"

This free rally challenges participants to solve problems found on "Mu Special Flyers" scattered throughout the park to uncover keywords. Characters appearing in the park will provide hints. Those who complete the rally will receive a "Mu Certified Sticker." The final report and redemption of participation benefits are available until 5:30 PM.

"Mu Special Area" Exhibition Space

On the 3rd floor of the park, an "Exhibition Space" will host the "Mu Special Area," including panels from "Mu Certified! Most Terrifying!! School Ghost Stories Visual Encyclopedia." This area showcases ghost stories and urban legends passed down in Showa-era schools, along with exhibits utilizing "Mu" magazine articles. The "Minna no Mūyan Area" in the 3rd-floor kids' space will feature illustrations and manga of Mu's official character, Mūyan, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in the world of "Mu." Entry to the exhibition space is free.

"Mu" Merchandise Collection

The "Maruhana Shoten" souvenir shop will offer a wide range of "Mu" related merchandise, including original goods with event-exclusive designs. Items include stickers (from 400 yen), can badges (from 350 yen), keyholders (800 yen), T-shirts (from 3,300 yen), and coin cases (1,540 yen), all reflecting the mysterious and nostalgic urban legend theme. Purchases of 1,000 yen or more will receive one random original novelty item (out of 10 types). Original workshops to create unique tote bags will also be held on weekends and holidays.

Collaboration Food

Specially designed collaboration food items, inspired by eerie and nostalgic tales, will be available. These visually striking limited-time menus offer a taste of mystery. A purchase of one collaboration food item comes with a random "Purchase Bonus Novelty" (out of 6 types).

Maruhana Amusement Fair

The "Matote" (target shooting) and "Wanna Nage" (ring toss) games at the Maruhana Amusement Fair will feature collaboration-exclusive prizes. Participants receive one random novelty item (out of 6 types) even if they don't win a collaboration prize. Each game costs 500 yen (tax included).

Special Ticket

A "Special Ticket" with added benefits is available for purchase, including park admission, one game coupon for the amusement fair (either Matote or Wanna Nage), and an original novelty item. The price is 2,900 yen (tax included). The tickets feature a postcard-like design with exclusive visuals, making them collectible souvenirs. Sales begin on Tuesday, September 22, 2026, at 12:00 PM via the official website and will continue until sold out.
