Matsuya Asakusa Christmas Cake Reservations Open: Limited Edition Cakes Available

Matsuya Asakusa will begin accepting reservations for Christmas cakes starting Wednesday, October 7, 2026. The venue, which also serves as the year-end gift center, will offer a diverse lineup unique to Matsuya Asakusa, including limited edition cakes from the long-loved "Omigaya Western Confectionery" and new cakes from popular local patisseries.

Early Bird Specials and Limited Edition Products

This year's Christmas cake reservations highlight early booking benefits and limited edition items. Notably, "Omigaya Western Confectionery" will present a "Bûche de Noël" (approx. 18cm length, 3,780 yen) featuring a classic flavor. This is a Matsuya Asakusa exclusive with only 50 units available and can be pre-ordered online from Thursday, October 1st to Tuesday, October 6th. Missing this period means reservations will only be accepted in-store, so early booking is recommended for those who want to secure theirs.

Additionally, "Hotel New Otani Pâtisserie SATSUKI" will offer its "New Super Amaou Shortcake" (approx. 18cm diameter, 15,660 yen), made with premium ingredients, with a limit of 15 units. Furthermore, "CONFECT-CONCEPT," a popular patisserie in Moto-Asakusa, will provide a "Vanilla and Strawberry Christmas Cake" (approx. 12cm diameter, 6,048 yen), exclusive to Matsuya and limited to 20 units. These limited cakes are expected to sell out quickly, making early reservations advisable.

In-store reservations will be accepted at the 1st-floor Gift Counter from Wednesday, October 7th to Tuesday, November 10th, and at the 1st-floor Year-End Gift Center from Wednesday, November 11th to Tuesday, December 15th. As sales will end once the limited quantities are reached, it is crucial to book early if you have a specific cake in mind.
