The "6th Kyushu Construction Development Expo", "6th Kyushu Disaster Risk Management Promotion Expo", "5th Kyushu Infrastructure Maintenance & Preservation Expo", and "1st Kyushu Civil Engineering & Construction DX/System/Tool Expo" will be held at Marine Messe Fukuoka in Hakata Ward, Fukuoka City, from June 24th to 25th, 2026. These exhibitions serve as a business-to-business trade fair for the construction, civil engineering, and infrastructure sectors in the Kyushu region, showcasing the latest technologies and solutions.
About the Exhibitions
These combined events aim to address regional challenges by presenting a wide range of technologies and products across four key themes. In 2025, the exhibitions attracted approximately 6,374 visitors, with over 80% coming from the Kyushu region, underscoring their relevance to local business needs. The event is expected to feature around 350 companies and 500 booths (including co-located exhibitions), with an anticipated 10,000 visitors, fostering active business discussions.
Featured Zones
Several special zones are highlighted at this year's event. The "Bridges & Tunnels" Longevity & DX Zone focuses on advanced technologies for maintaining aging infrastructure, including drone inspections, AI image analysis, and highly durable repair materials. The "Water Pipes & Lifelines" Renewal & Seismic Resistance Zone will showcase technologies for rebuilding robust pipelines resistant to leaks and disasters, such as trenchless renewal methods, leak detection systems, and seismic joints. Additionally, the "Port & Marine Infrastructure" Maintenance & Disaster Prevention Zone addresses the unique challenges faced by Kyushu, an island region, with solutions like underwater drone surveys and anti-corrosion technologies for ports.
Target Audience
The primary audience includes government officials (Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism; prefectural and municipal construction, water, and port departments), infrastructure managers (high-speed railways, railways, power, gas, land improvement districts), and industry professionals such as general contractors, local construction companies, consultants, and design firms. It presents an excellent opportunity to explore the latest technological trends and business prospects.
