2026 Electronic Craft Workshop at Nagoya Science Museum
Attend the 2026 Electronic Craft Workshop at Nagoya Science Museum from July 24-26 to learn about light and make music box spinning tops.
The "2026 Electronic Craft Workshop" is set to take place at the Nagoya City Science Museum, offering children an engaging way to learn about science.
"Learn with Full-Color LEDs" (Junior Course)
This session is designed for 5th and 6th graders. Participants will learn the principles of light's primary colors by soldering LEDs. It's a hands-on experience to understand how colors are created through light. The capacity is 16 students, and selection will be by lottery if applications exceed the limit. The participation fee is 1,600 yen, including materials and insurance.
"Let's Make a Music Box Spinning Top" (Parent-Child Course)
For 3rd and 4th graders accompanied by a parent or guardian, this workshop involves creating a "music box spinning top" that lights up and plays music when spun. The spinning top creates a beautiful ring of light and melody. Each day can accommodate 16 pairs (32 people), with a fee of 2,400 yen per pair, covering materials and insurance. This course runs on July 25th (Saturday) and 26th (Sunday).
