June 14: B6 Engine Experience at Nagoya Science Museum's FUJI Railway Plaza!

Get ready for an exciting "B6 Driving Experience" at the FUJI Railway Plaza within the Nagoya City Science Museum on June 14th! Applications are now open for this unique event.

This event offers a rare opportunity to actually operate the controls of a B6 steam locomotive. You'll get to handle the regulator valve, which is equivalent to the accelerator in a car, and feel the power of the driving wheels as they turn. Experience the sounds and vibrations directly from the driver's cabin!

Participation in the driving experience requires advance application, and winners will be selected by lottery if applications exceed capacity. The application deadline is June 1st (Monday), so be sure to apply early!

In addition to the driving experience, there will be open house tours of the "Imperial Escort Vehicle and City Tram" and "Live Commentary by Volunteers" on the same day, requiring no prior application. Explore the interiors of these historical vehicles and gain in-depth knowledge from railway enthusiasts.
