MIRAIKAN's "Sky: A Journey Through Clouds" Immersive Installation
Miraikan's "Sky: A Journey Through Clouds" immersive installation opens April 25, 2026. Experience the diverse beauty of clouds scientifically and fantastically in this free exhibition.
The National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation (Miraikan) presents "Sky: A Journey Through Clouds," an immersive installation at its Innovation Hall.
This exhibition, supervised by cloud researcher Dr. Kentaro Araki and produced by WOW, reconstructs the diverse expressions of clouds in a fantastical and scientific manner. Visitors can experience the ever-changing cycle of clouds from dawn to dusk as if they were inside them.
It offers a chance to appreciate the wonder and beauty of meteorological phenomena while gaining insights into scientific research. Special installations will even generate mist, enhancing the sense of immersion.
The main feature runs for approximately 5 minutes and replays in a loop, with free entry and exit. Admission to the installation itself is free, though a ticket is required for the permanent exhibition.
Don't miss this unique opportunity to embark on a journey into the world of clouds at Miraikan.
