The "Kodomo d SCHOOL: Truly Delicious Soy Sauce" event offers a unique workshop for parents and children to explore the world of soy sauce at Shibuya Hikarie.
This engaging event aims to spark children's interest in food by focusing on the fundamental condiment, soy sauce. Guided by Yoichi Yugeita from Yugeita Shoyu, participants will learn about soy sauce ingredients and production methods through sensory experiences – seeing, touching, and tasting. A highlight of the program is the hands-on experience of making soy sauce, with participants taking their creations home to observe the fermentation process over several months, making it an ideal activity for summer vacation research projects.
The workshop concludes with a special children's set meal featuring five types of soy sauce, providing a delicious and educational experience for the whole family.
