A hands-on workshop, "Kids' SCHOOL: Truly Delicious Soy Sauce," will be held at Shibuya Hikarie, offering a fun way for parents and children to learn about soy sauce.
This event aims to deepen children's understanding of soy sauce, a common condiment, through experiential learning. Featuring Yoichi Yugeita from Yugeita Shoyu, participants will explore soy sauce ingredients and production methods by seeing, touching, and tasting. A unique opportunity to actually make soy sauce will be provided, with the finished product to be taken home, allowing observation of its development over several months – perfect for summer holiday research projects.
The workshop concludes with a special children's set meal featuring five types of soy sauce. This promises to be a valuable experience for fostering an interest in food.
