The "Pokemon Card Lounge Cup" will be held at SHIBUYA TSUTAYA 5F POKÉMON CARD LOUNGE on Sunday, August 23, 2026. This event brings the excitement of the Pokemon Card Game to the heart of Shibuya.

Compete in a Large-Scale Tournament

This is a tournament-style Pokemon Card Game competition. Up to 60 players will participate in the preliminary rounds, with only the top 8 advancing to the final tournament stage. It's an opportunity to fully experience the depth of the Pokemon Card Game in a challenging, official tournament format.

What to Bring and Rules

Participants must bring a 60-card deck and necessary items like damage counters and status markers. While some items are available for loan, availability is limited, so bringing your own is recommended. The tournament follows the Standard Regulation, with 6 rounds of Swiss Draw in the preliminaries and a 3-round final tournament. Each match is 25 minutes long.

Prizes and Notes

The winner will receive a 1-day free pass to the lounge plus a cap or T-shirt, and the runner-up a 1-day free pass and a face towel, among other prizes. Participation fees are payable in advance, and no cancellations or refunds are possible. Basic rule explanations will not be provided; consider attending a teaching event if you need rule guidance. This event is not eligible for the "Summer Vacation Pokemon Card Player Support Campaign" student discount or half-price for elementary school students and younger.

Venue Access

Approximately a 5-minute walk from JR Shibuya Station and Tokyo Metro Shibuya Station. The venue is the POKÉMON CARD LOUNGE on the 5th floor of SHIBUYA TSUTAYA. Advance reservations are mandatory, with bookings opening on the reservation form 30 days prior at 0:00 AM. There are no spectator seats.
