TOKYO SKYTREE Dream Christmas 2026: Festive Illumination and Events

Tokyo Skytree in Sumida-ku, Tokyo, will host "TOKYO SKYTREE Dream Christmas 2026" from November 5, 2026, to February 24, 2027. This event transforms the iconic tower into a winter wonderland, offering visitors a special Christmas experience close to the sky.

Festive Decorations and Views

The event features "Dream Christmas" decorations centered around the theme of "sparkling light filling the sky." Visitors can enjoy a magical atmosphere on the Tembo Deck, which will be adorned with sparkling lights and elegant ribbons. On Floor 350, a large ribbon will visually "wrap" the observation deck, offering a spectacular view enhanced by the festive theme. A snow globe installation with countless twinkling stars will also be present on Floor 350, creating a heartwarming scene. Additionally, the "special seats" by the round windows on Floor 340 provide unique photo opportunities with ornamental decorations.

Limited-Time Entertainment and Dining

A large-format panoramic screen on Floor 350 of the Tembo Deck will showcase exclusive Christmas short films: "Yukidaruma-kun's Winter Holiday" and "Siblings' Christmas Eve." These two stories offer different perspectives on a heartwarming holiday narrative. Complementing the visual attractions, the "SKYTREE CAFE" on Floor 350 will offer a special Christmas menu. Highlights include the "White Strawberry Latte" (¥980 incl. tax), "Aurora Sparkling Wine" (¥1,200 incl. tax), and "Matcha Ice Cream Christmas Tree" (¥990 incl. tax). These limited-edition items are available while supplies last.

Character Greetings and Special Gifts

The beloved character Sorakara-chan will make appearances dressed in various past Christmas costumes. This is a great opportunity for fans to take photos with the character. The costume schedule varies weekly, with special appearances on December 24th and 25th featuring different outfits depending on the time slot. Greetings will primarily be held on Floor 350 of the Tembo Deck, with some sessions taking place on the 4th floor entrance.

From December 1st to December 25th, visitors who greet staff members wearing Santa hats with "Dream Christmas!" will receive an original sticker, adding a small token of holiday cheer.
