Needs-Seeds Matching Exchange 2026 at Tokyo Metropolitan Industrial Trade Center Taito Building

The "Needs-Seeds Matching Exchange 2026" will be held at the Tokyo Metropolitan Industrial Trade Center Taito Building. This event aims to connect the "needs" (difficulties faced by people with disabilities) with the "seeds" (technologies held by companies) to develop more convenient and practical independent support devices.

The venue will provide opportunities for idea exchange while interacting with prototype devices, with the goal of utilizing on-site feedback for development. A record 131 companies, including manufacturers, universities, research institutions, and startups, will exhibit a wide range of support devices for various disabilities such as physical, visual, auditory, higher cognitive function, intellectual, and mental disabilities, as well as monitoring support and assistive devices.

The event is also supported by a subsidy program from the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare, and will feature discussions and symposiums for people with disabilities, researchers, and companies to exchange opinions.
