BOOK MEETS FUKUOKA 2026: A Book Event at Fukuoka PARCO

The event "BOOK MEETS FUKUOKA 2026 ～本のもりのなかへ～" will be held at Fukuoka PARCO Main Building 5F PARCO FACTORY in Tenjin, Chuo-ku, Fukuoka.

This event is a large-scale book fair organized by "Books Kubrick," an independent bookstore based in Fukuoka, and hosted by Fukuoka PARCO. It also collaborates with "Book Oka," a book festival held concurrently in various locations within Fukuoka City. This presents a valuable opportunity for readers seeking new discoveries and encounters through books.

The venue will feature approximately 10,000 books, carefully selected by independent bookstores within Fukuoka Prefecture, alongside titles from unique small to medium-sized publishers from across Japan. This extensive collection promises a rich experience, akin to being "in the forest of books," especially for those who wish to immerse themselves in literature.

The event is organized and planned by Books Kubrick and the Book Oka Executive Committee. Ayumi Hidaka is responsible for the event's illustrations, and Takuma Nakagawa for its design, contributing to a more engaging atmosphere.

Admission to the event is free, allowing visitors to enjoy the world of books without financial barriers. The event runs daily from 10:00 AM to 8:30 PM, except on the final day, which closes at 6:00 PM. This schedule is convenient for those visiting after work or during shopping trips.
